What is TREND45?

TREND45 is an organization that strives to uplift our community of artists and creatives by hosting international events to facilitate industry networking, artistic growth, travel and creative inspiration.

Who is TREND45 for?

Photographers, models, creatives, and artists of all kinds who wish to build their portfolios while experiencing the world with a driven, open-minded, and welcoming team. TREND45 also works with brands that want access to high-quality, branded content, and powerful marketing experience-driven strategies.

What happens at TREND45 events?

During a TREND45 event, attendees engage in the creation of portfolio-building media while experiencing cultural immersion, staying in luxury accommodation in astounding locations, with top-tier hospitality, cuisine, and a wide variety of compelling excursions.

Do you have to have a certain amount of followers to join the #TrendFam?

No, TREND45 has no criteria for the amount of followers an applicant must have to become a member of the Trend family.

Can my parents/family come along to events?

All attendees will be subject to our application process, but we know that attending an event for the first time can be daunting, so we highly encourage family and friends to apply and attend events together!

What is the application process for?

While we do not base membership acceptance based on the size of your following, we do check social profiles and the portfolio links you provide in your application to ensure that all attendees are pursuing their respective creative crafts seriously. We do not discriminate based on race, color, creed, or ethnicity, but on the whole, the application process is in place to ensure that all our events and endeavors are productive and safe for our team all participants.

How do I get in contact with TREND45?

How long are events?

The events typically last anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks in length.

Are events physically demanding?

They can be. certain excursions require some element of physical fitness, such as walking for long periods of time, or traveling to out of the way shoot locations. Check the event information for specific excursion details in advance.

Support

Who are the staff members at the event?

Each TREND45 event will have a staff team with a combination of members from the leadership team and support staff. You can learn more TREND45 leadership team on the “Team” page of this website, but attendees will be introduced to the specific attending team members in advance of travel.

How many photographers/models/etc. will be attending?

This depends on the specific event’s capacity. Each event has a balanced mix of creatives (generally 20-40 attendees), with specific caps on tickets for each artistic role.

Where can I find the address of the villa?

With everyone’s safety mind this will be given to you in your emailed event information packet after you book your ticket.

Do I have to stay with the group on excursions?

While there are no restrictions on when and where you can go while at a TREND45 event, we have curated an itinerary that we feel maximizes the experience of all our attendees, and all exploration outside of this is at the attendee’s own risk.

Travel

Do I need a passport?

Passports are required for all international travel.

How do I know if I need a visa?

Each country has its own visa requirements based on the country’s relationship with the country of your passport. See the event for specific details.

Is travel insurance required?

Travel insurance is highly recommended for all of our events. Our trips are planned with safety and caution in mind, but getting a travel insurance policy will cover you in the event of any unforeseen accidents. TREND45 is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. We recommend getting a policy from as those offered by worldnomads.com

How do I prepare for the event?

Please read the event information packet that you are sent, as it includes a packing list, itinerary, and detailed travel information.

Is there a dress code?

TREND45 events have no specific dress code, but we respect the cultural guidelines set by specific locations, especially in the case of visits to religious locations and culturally significant sites.

Can I join an event late or leave it early?

In the case of an individual needing to leave an event early or join late, TREND45 will certainly assist in setting up travel accommodations that best suit the individual. Please note that TREND45 does not take financial accountability for extra costs.

Amenities

Do I have to attend all excursions?

No excursions are not required but highly encouraged to complete your experience and facilitate content creation.

Is alcohol included?

No. But you are free to purchase food and drink on your own, outside of the provided scheduled catered cuisine.

What are the living/sleeping arrangements?

Accommodations vary according to the event, but usually, these consist of a combination of shared, bunk, and single rooms.

Do you cater for special food requests/restrictions?

Yes, and we request you specify any requests when booking your ticket.

Are there activities/entertainment that are villa-based?

Yes, we hold scheduled team-bonding activities throughout the event to foster connections and further inspire creativity.

Will I be able to choose who to shoot with?

Yes, while we’ll make the initial introductions, shoots are free-range and we encourage you to shoot with as many attendees as possible.

Troubleshooting

Who should I go to if I have a problem/emergency?

Each event will have a delegated operations team member who you can go to with any problems or issues, but all staff members are willing and ready to help you.

What do I do if I become ill/injured?

Immediately contact a team member who will assess the situation and either provide or seek further medical assistance.

What happens in the case of bad weather?

All alternate schedules are created in the interest of safety and viability, based on the options available due to the location of the event.

What if I can’t find someone to shoot with?

TREND45 always encourages our attendees to vary their collaborations, but there will always be staff photographers in attendance who will be happy to shoot with you.

Booking and Payment

What is included in my event ticket?

All tickets include accommodation, meals, transportation during the event, and certain excursions.

What do I do if I need to change my booking details?

Contact the team as soon as possible. Please have your previous details on hand to streamline the process.

Do you require a deposit?

Each ticket requires a payment plan or needs to be paid for in full upfront.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

We do not offer direct refunds. However, in the case of TREND45 canceling an event or other special circumstances, credit will be applied towards your next event.

Can I specify a ticket with a first-class flight?

Yes. Special requests are subject to additional fees.

Artists

Do you provide hair and makeup/clothing/props/items for shoots?

TREND45 does not provide guests with hair and makeup/clothing/items/props to shoot with, however, we do provide artistic direction as needed. Specific brand-sponsored products will be provided subject to availability and prior discussion.

When will I receive my content?

You will receive your official event content within a month of the end of the event.

Photographers

Do you provide shooting equipment?

No. Each photographer should bring their own equipment.

How much content am I required to edit and produce for each model?

We encourage you to shoot as much content and collaborate as much as possible as that will give you the most opportunities for maximum visibility.

What image/film usage rights do I have?

You own the copyrights to all your content but TREND45 has a license to use it for promotional purposes on our socials, website, and other channels.
